Reaching Remote Areas
The mountainous terrain has made reaching affected communities particularly challenging. Landslides triggered by the earthquakes have blocked roads, forcing relief teams to use alternate routes and even pack animals to deliver supplies to isolated villages.
Operation Blessing International has deployed disaster relief teams with emergency supplies including food, clean water, and temporary shelter materials.
Samaritan's Purse is operating mobile medical clinics in affected areas where health facilities have been damaged, providing emergency trauma care and basic medical services.
Convoy of Hope is distributing food and hygiene kits to families in displacement shelters established in schools and community centers.
